On 17 November 2015 British Pakistanis and TWS members attended Candle Vigil at the London Trafalgar Square and showed their solidarity to the people of France and to the victims’ families. The candle vigil was organised by #WCOP.

Speakers and attendants include: Member of European Parliament and Chairman WCOP Sajjad Haider Karim , Chairman Third World Solidarity (TWS) Alderman Mushtaq Lasharie and Mr Kefale Alemu Executive Member of the TWS, TV Presenter, Journalist, Author of “MTV to Mecca” Kristiane Backer, CEO, Entrepreneur, Author of “Impossible” Arif Anees Malik, Orthopaedic Surgeon, Director ApexTV, Director WCOP Dr Suhail Chughtai, and Co Chairman WCOP Syed Qamar Raza.

Speakers condemned the inhuman actions of terrorists and pleaded to unite against all forms of extremism and to promote Peace. Speakers further expressed their solidarity with the people of France and other victim countries around the world.
