More than 16 people  had been killed by a Federal Police in Bahir-dar, the city of the Amhara State in Ethiopia. Ethio-Media web site has reported that the killings have been carried out by the Ethiopian Unity and Freedom Force (EUFF), a rebel group that has been attacking the ruling EPRDF party officials and their businesses. According to the Ethio-Media web site the rebel group claimed responsibility for this deadly attack. The web site has also told to its users that the above named rebel group will announce the names of the officials killed and wounded soon.

However the news from ETSAT and other websites’ news sources does not mention about EUFF operation in Bahir-dar. According to ESAT’s interview with the residences, the killer is a member of the Federal Police who has been assigned by the regime in the area. In the interview some people were giving a confusing information that does not seem to be true. Like the killer was in love with somebody and as if that is the cause of the massacre. Others sources think that the Federal police was a member of TPLF who hates the Amharas and it is a cold-blooded killing.

Most people in Face Book reported the killings as  a usual well designed crime by the TPLF so as to further Massacre and intimidate the Ethiopians in general and the Amharas in particular. We need to be patient and wait until fact based and a reliable information is obtained.
