Ethiopian Airline co-pilot hijacked Boeing 767
An Ethiopian Called Hailemedehin Abera Tegegn (31 years old) hijacked Boing 767 and landed in Geneva, Switzerland on Monday 17 Feb 14. Mr.Hailemedehin Abera Tegegn later found to be the co-pilot of the Plane. The Co-pilot told to Swiss officials that he has been threatened in his country and wants to seek asylum in Switzerland. Hailemedehin Abera Tegegn was unharmed and is currently in custody. The Gross and continuous Human Rights Violations in Ethiopia can cause further civil disobedience in the country.
