Ethiopians in Europe Demonstrated in Brussels (Belgium) and Demanded the EU to Stop Supporting TPLF
On 17 November 2014 Ethiopians residing in Europe gathered in Brussels at Rue Dela Loi 170 in front of the European Commission HQ’s Office and demonstrated against the ethnocentric criminal organisation of TPLF. The purpose of this demonstration was to demand the EU to stop financing the criminal ethnic based regime in Ethiopia. In this video you can also listen to Kefale Alemu’s interview regarding the EU’s response. If the EU do not take an appropriate measure against the regime, the people of Ethiopia should continue their just struggle against the gross Human Rights Violations. As they have done it in the past they will be relying on themselves and safeguard their territorial integrity and democratic Rights.
The crowd’s peaceful demonstration rocked the European Union main institutions’ HQs and gracefully raised Ethiopian legal flags and traditional songs impressed the People of Brussels and tourists in the area.
Brussels hosts institutions of the European Union within its European Quarter. To date the EU has no official capital, and no one knows whether it has plans to declare one in the future. Currently Brussels hosts the official seats of the European Commission, Council of the European Union, and European Council, as well as a seat of the European Parliament. Therefore in practice it looks like the capital of the European Union.

The Successful Meeting of Moresh Amhara Wogene Organisation in London
On 17 August 2014 Moresh Wogene Amhara Organisation (MWAO) has held a successful public meeting in London. The main speaker was Mr Tekle Yeshaw, the President of the organisation. The meeting at ECB Finchley Road was packed by people who were keen to listen to Mr. Tekle Yeshawu’s speech regarding the current situation of Ethiopia and the aim and reasons of the establishment of the Amhara Organisation.
Mr Tekle Yeshaw told the meeting that the Amharas never wanted to create an organisation in their ethnic lines. Because of their love for Ethiopia and the unity of its people the Amharas had rejected ethnic based organisations for more than two decades. However, TPLF has continued to organize and encouraged other ethnic groups to target the Amharas. Therefore, the main reasons for the establishment of the organisation are the isolation of the Amharas from all sectors of the Ministerial Departments and the shocking Human Rights Violations in the country by the ethnocentric regime. Due to the continuous genocide and Ethnic cleansing of its people the Amharas are compelled to establish a civic organisation that can be a voice for its voiceless people. Mr Tekle pointed out that the ultimate Goal of MWAO is not only to protect the Amharas from racists barbaric attacks but also to defend other Ethnic groups and Ethiopia from further destruction and atrocities of TPLF.
Mr Takle Yeshaw also told to the attendees that because of TPLF’s hate to Amharas and its divisive ethnic politics, it is hardly possible to say that Ethiopia exists and functions as a sovereign State today. He further reminded the public about the shocking genocide, ethnic cleansing and the 2.4 Million Missing Amharas. Amharas have always defended the Ethiopian people and their country at all times and they will repeat this inherited tradition again at this difficult time.
